Live, On Facebook and Twitter!

Fresh off the first week-long residency of my MFA in Creative Writing at Western New England University, I'm back to reality teaching summer creative writing at a juvenile detention center. It's only two days in but I have to say I think the kids are enjoying my novel choice, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Me, I'm reading A Paris Apartment by Michelle Gable and on deck is Porter Shreve's latest novel The End of the Book. I was lucky enough to work with Porter during my residency as well as Justin Taylor, author of Flings, a collection of short stories that will knock your socks off.
